Meet the team behind the 12 Week Challenge.
Tetyana was recently appointed the Fernwood Fitness Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the Food and Mood Centre, Deakin University. Tetyana is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian who completed her PhD at the University of the Sunshine Coast (USC).
During her PhD, Tetyana also lectured in Nutrition and Dietetics at the USC, covering the areas of general nutrition, food, society and culture, and food sciences. Her specific interests include everyday simple nutrition for a healthy body and mind throughout the life stages, which she has used to develop the delicious, easy-to-follow meal plans in the 12 Week Challenge.
Cat found her love of personal training more than 14 years ago. Throughout her career, Cat has trained women of various ages, sizes and fitness levels, all with the common goal of improving their overall health and wellbeing. In 2014 and 2015 she was nominated for Personal Trainer of the Year and was a finalist in Educator of the Year at the New Zealand Exercise Industry Awards.
Cat’s style of training has evolved to not only focus on the physical changes but also the mental health of her clients, and she applies this holistic approach to the exercise plans in this year’s 12 Week Challenge.
Stefanie has more than a decade of experience as an educator and has made countless appearances as a guest speaker, academic, performer, youth advocate and author. She holds a Diploma of Mindfulness Therapy, Mental Health First Aid and Youth Mental Health First Aid certificate, as well as tertiary qualifications in acting and education.
Stefanie is extremely passionate about using mindfulness meditation and mindfulness therapy to empower women to find wellness and reach their full potential. She brings this passion and experience to the new meditation component of the 12 Week Challenge.
